Stampotique challenge! SDC 104
Hi all!
I feel like the rabit from Alice in Wonderland, running around saying 'i'm late, i'm late'! But i made it! I simply couldn't possibly miss out on sweet Maria's super duper fun Stampotique Designer challenge for this week, which is faux metal! Yeah!

Je me sens un peu comme le lapin d'Alice au Pays des Merveilles, à courir dans tous les sens en disant 'je suis en retard, je suis en retard'! Mais j'y suis arrivée! Je ne pouvais tout simplement pas rater le super challenge Stampotique Designer de cette semaine par la douce Maria, qui est le faux métal! Chouette!
To make up for being late, i'll add the the tutorial for the box at the end of this post! But first, these are the Stampotique stamps i used:

And this is how i made my faux metal box: I started with an empty box of... painkillers!
Et voici comment j'ai fait la boîte en faux métal: j'ai démarré avec une boîte vide... d'anti-douleurs!
I applied two layers of black gesso to cover up the prints.
J'ai appliqué deux couches de gesso noir afin de recouvrir les impressions.
Then two layers of pewter acrylic paint.
Puis deux couches de peinture acrylique étain.
I used Tim Holtz riveted metal embossing folder to get the right texture.
J'ai utilisé la plaque de gaufrage metal riveté de Tim Holtz pour créer la bonne texutre.
I sprayed Black Marble Dylusions ink, not taking care to cover everything up, then forced it to dry with my heat gun.
J'ai aspergé du Dylusions Black Marble, en faisant attention de ne pas tout recouvrir, puis j'ai forcé le séchage au pistolet à chaleur.
Once dry, i rubbed it with a baby wipe.
Une fois sec, j'ai frotté avec une lingette humide.
I glued the box back together and added some Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold accents with my finger.
J'ai recollé la boîte puis j'ai rajouté quelques accents de Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold au doigt.

Last PaperArsty project for this week: my favorite one!

I have been soooo impatient to show you this one, but I kept my favorite PaperArtsy project for the finale of this week. Playing with Grunge Paste and vials was sheer bliss!

J'étais teeeeeeellement impatiente de vous montrer ce projet, mais j'ai gardé mon projet PaperArtsy préféré pour le grand final de cette semaine. Pouvoir jouer avec du Grunge Paste et des fiols fut un véritable bonheur!

Stampotique challenge! SDC 103

Surprise: I'm still alive! And what better way to proove it, than a little Stampotique Designer challenge?
Our sweet collegue Valerie Wilson is challenging us to use an envelope this week: any shape or size, new or used, flip, fold, score, tear, ink, paint, stamp, doodle, embellish or just keep it clean and simple!

I started with a A5 kraft enveloppe, ripped it open so i could stitch my PanPastel background on it, than glued it back together. I used Roc Nicholas' 'Art lives here' #2410 stamp and placed my 'Birdy' #10002 on top of it. I also used my 'Village' #10010 stamp and my 'Banner' #10001 stamp.
J'ai démarré avec une enveloppe kraft A5 que j'ai démantibulée afin de pouvoir coudre mon arrière plan crée aux PanPastel dessus, puis je l'ai recollée. J'ai utilisé le tampon 'Art lives here' #2410 de Roc Nicholas sur lequel j'ai placé mon 'Birdy' #10002. J'ai aussi utilisé mon 'Village' #10010 et mon 'Banner' #10001.

Stampotique challenge! SDC 102
Hi all!
Time for a new Stampotique Designer challenge, hosted this week by the sweet Libby Hickson! It's all clear to her: she wants us to use transparant elements, in any form!

Il est temps pour un nouveau challenge Stampotique Designer et cette semaine notre hôte est la douce Libby Hickson! Pour elle c'est clair: elle veut que nous utilisions des éléments transparants, sous quelle forme que ce soit!
I made a plastic pouch for this atc using Tim Holtz die and... it's own plastic packaging!
On the atc i used several Stampotique stamps: Daniel Torrente's ' Daniel's tree topper' #6157 and 'Daniel's heart' #6109 .I also used my own 'My heart' #10008. On the pouch i stamped one of the words on Amy Wilson Wellenstein 'Tall word collage' #7167.
J'ai fait une pochette en plastique pour cet atc en utilisant la plaque de découpe Tim Holtz et ... son propre emballage en plastique!
Sur l'atc j'ai utilisé plusieurs tampons Stampotique: le Daniel's Tree topper' #6157 et le 'Daniel's heart' #6109 de Daniel Torrente. J'ai aussi utilisé mon 'My heart' #10008. Sur la pochette j'ai tamponné un des mots du 'Tall word collage' # 7167 de Amy Wilson Wellenstein.

Stampotique challenge! SDC 101
Hi all!
My super talented design team collegue Sarinda Jones is hosting this week's Stampotique Designer challenge. She came up with a fun one: text paper! Whether it's from a dictionnary, a book or a newspaper, as long as you use text paper!

Ma collègue super talentueuse de DT Sarinda Jones est notre hôte pour le challenge de cette semaine chez Stampotique Designer challenge. Elle nous propose un chouette challenge: du papier texte! Que ce soit d'un dictionnaire, d'un livre ou d'un journal, tant qu'on utilise du papier texte!
Using a piece of light cardboard, i made a cover for a little notebook. On top of dictionnary paper i used to mop up excess ink and a piece of a book page, i stamped Marie Sabina Raita's 'Pretty Zara' #7315.
A l'aide d'un morceau de carton assez fin, j'ai fait une couverture pour un petit bloc-note. Par dessus du papier dictionnaire que j'ai utilisé pour absorber un excès d'encre et un morceau d'une page de vieux livre, j'ai tamponné 'Pretty Zara' #7315 de Maria Sabina Raita.

Third PaperArtsy project

For this one, i played with Grunge Paste! Yummy yummy!

Yeah!! It's the 100th Stampotique Designer challenge today! Our fantastic DT coordonator Kim Howard is hosting this special challenge and guess what: for this special edition, anything goes!

Yihaa!! C'est le centième challenge Stampotique Designer aujourd'hui! Notre fantastique coordinatrice de DT Kim Howard est notre hôte pour cette édition spéciale et devinez quoi: on peut faire tout comme qu'est-ce qu'on veut pour ce challenge!
Well of course i played in my art journal! I used my 'Cityscape' stamp #10006, stamped several time and colorized with Copics. You can hardly see it, but i also stamped Janet Klein's 'Garden Block' #9061 on the background.
Bien sûr j'ai joué dans mon art journal! J'ai utilisé mon tampon 'Cityscape' #10006, tamponné plusieurs fois et colorisés aux Copics. On le voit à peine, mais j'ai aussi tamponné le 'Garden Block' #9061 de Janet Klein en arrière plan.
