Stampotique challenge! SDC 101

Hi all!
My super talented design team collegue Sarinda Jones is hosting this week's Stampotique Designer challenge. She came up with a fun one: text paper! Whether it's from a dictionnary, a book or a newspaper, as long as you use text paper!

Ma collègue super talentueuse de DT Sarinda Jones est notre hôte pour le challenge de cette semaine chez Stampotique Designer challenge. Elle nous propose un chouette challenge: du papier texte! Que ce soit d'un dictionnaire, d'un livre ou d'un journal, tant qu'on utilise du papier texte!

Using a piece of light cardboard, i made a cover for a little notebook. On top of dictionnary paper i used to mop up excess ink and a piece of a book page, i stamped Marie Sabina Raita's 'Pretty Zara' #7315.

A l'aide d'un morceau de carton assez fin, j'ai fait une couverture pour un petit bloc-note. Par dessus du papier dictionnaire que j'ai utilisé pour absorber un excès d'encre et un morceau d'une page de vieux livre, j'ai tamponné 'Pretty Zara' #7315 de Maria Sabina Raita.

On the inside, i used Maria Sabina Raita's 'Keep calm' #7305.

A l'intérieure, j'ai utilisé 'Keep calm' #7305 de Maria Sabina Raita. 

The last stamp i used is 'Text stamp #3' #7140 by Amy Wilson Wellenstein.

Stampotique challenge! SDC 100

Yeah!! It's the 100th Stampotique Designer challenge today! Our fantastic DT coordonator Kim Howard is hosting this special challenge and guess what: for this special edition, anything goes!

Well of course i played in my art journal! I used my 'Cityscape' stamp #10006, stamped several time and colorized with Copics. You can hardly see it, but i also stamped Janet Klein's 'Garden Block' #9061 on the background.

Bien sûr j'ai joué dans mon art journal! J'ai utilisé mon tampon 'Cityscape' #10006, tamponné plusieurs fois et colorisés aux Copics. On le voit à peine, mais j'ai aussi tamponné le 'Garden Block' #9061 de Janet Klein en arrière plan.

Can you feel it? It's in the air! That summery feeling! And as it's Wednesday, which means time for a new Stampotique Designer challenge, sweet Carol Fox wants us to do just that: to create a piece with a summery feeling!

Vous le sentez? Dans l'air? C'est l'été qui arrive! Et comme on est mercredi, ce qui veut dire grand temps pour un nouveau challenge Stampotique Designer, c'est exactement ce que la douce Carol Fox veut que nous fassions: que nous fassions une réa qui respire l'été!

I played in my mini Moleskine art journal for this challenge and when thinking of the summery feeling i couldn't help but thinking of light summery clothing and swimsuits... and all the weight i'd like to loose before wearing those! loll

J'ai joué dans mon art journal mini Moleskine pour ce challenge et en pensant à l'été qui arrive je n'ai pu m'empêcher de penser aux vétements estivaux et maillots de bain... et au poids que je voudrais perdre avant de les enfiler! lolll

So i stamped Daniel Torrente's 'Girl with Heart Purse' #6021, but i gave her a towel to hide herself!
The text is stamped with Jill Penney's 'Alphabitties' #6010.

Journal on Monday: week 60

Hi all!
I'm back in the studio after 5 days of fun at Pour l'Amour du Scrap in Nantes. It's good to look back and get some memories of new acquaintances, ideas and mementos on paper. I kept it short (no, seriously, this time I did!) as i have a lot of catching up to do. Enjoy :)))

Me voilà de retour dans mon atelier après 5 superbes journées à Pour l'Amour du Scrap à Nantes. Cela fait du bien de regarder en arrière et de mettre sur papier quelques souvenirs de rencontres, idées et mémentos. C'est une version courte cette semaine (non, sérieux, je m'y suis tenue cette fois!) car j'ai pas mal de retard à rattraper. Bon visionnage :)))

Stampotique challenge! SDC 97

Hi all!
It's a double happy Wednesday today, as i get to host this weeks Stampotique Designer challenge! I hope you're ready to join the fun :)))
Don't you just love all the details on Stampotique stamps? The best way to realize just how detailed they are is... by trimming them! And that's our challenge this week: i'd like you to use (at least) 3 trimmed stamped images!
Up to you to use 3 times the same image or 3 different ones, to use them on a tag, a card, an altered object, ... I hope you find this as relaxing as i do!

C'est un mercredi doublement heureux aujourd'hui, puisque j'ai l'honneur d'être votre hôte pour le challenge Stampotique Designer de cette semaine! J'espère que vous êtes tous prêts à nous rejoindre :)))
On aime tous les super détails sur les tampons Stampotique, non? Et le meilleur moyen de se rendre compte du nombre de détails c'est... en détourant les images! Et voilà notre challenge pour cette semaine: j'aimerai que vous utilisiez (au moins) 3 images tamponnées et détourées!
A vous de voir si voulez utiliser 3 fois la même image ou 3 différentes, si vous voulez les utiliser sur un tag, une carte, un objet altérer, ... J'espère que vous trouvez cela aussi relaxant que moi!

I used Kira Nichols's 'Stack of birds' #4027, Daniel Torrente's 'Daniel's tree topper' #6157 and my 'Banner' #10001.
Sometimes you need to cheat a bit to get all the details. You can cut off some details when trimming (like i did with the bird legs) and make them visible again by stamping directly on your piece and sticking the trimmed images on top of the stamped image.

J'ai utilisé 'Stack of birds' #4027 de  Kira Nichols, 'Daniel's tree topper' #6157 de Daniel Torrente et mon 'Banner' #10001.
Parfois il faut un peu tricher pour obtenir tous les détails. On peut couper certains détails (comme j'ai fait ici avec les pattes des oiseaux) et les rendre à nouveau visible en tamponnant l'image directement sur votre projet et en recollant les images détourées sur les images tamponnées.
