A layer a day - A spread a week: week 45

Hello everyone!

It´s Melina here today with a new ALAD challenge for you.

In case this is the first time you read about the challenge, check out the first blog post on the subject here, where we explain what it is all about.

You can join the fun at any time on the France Papillon and Creative Butterflies facebook group, where lots of alad spreads and in between layers get shared, which will definitely help your mojo to be inspired!

week 45

Silence the mind

I think you know by now I´m facing some difficulties in my life, and that my prompts are quite deep. But, I can´t imagine I am alone. For me, art journaling is a way to deal with all these hard thoughts and feelings. How about you?

They say that being present in the now is a way to be happy... How do you do that?

Thoughts about why things turned out the way they did and how the future is going to be can sometimes be overwhelming

”Silence the mind” is this weeks sentense to be inspired by when making your layers and pages.

How do you do to silence your minds for a while to be present?

For me a walk (very short and slow in my case due to pain) in the forest or gardening are great ways to feel present. I think nature gives without taking energy.

Another thing that makes me feel present is taking care of and cuddle with animals.

Recently I have tried to learn meditiation. I´m not that good at it yet, but so far I feel that my brain get some rest after practicing.

I´m looking forward to hear your thoughts about this if you want to share, but more important, see your pages and spreads on the theme.

Much love,

Melina
