Butterfly Squad creative team inspiration: Kathleen

Hi hi sweet Butterflies, Kathleen here!

This time it will be a slow project in my art journal with lots of layers and a lot of dying. I hope you like the result, so let’s play around and see how we get this page.

Have fun!

I cut some paper and distress the edges and glue it onto the pages.

Then I picked some colours that I wanted to use. This time I did layer by layer with a lot of water until I liked what I got and started with another layer and do the same thing over and over.

I added some Texture Sand Paste with the Rusted Rivets stencil from France.

I coloured the paste with some carbon black and interference gold till it falls in to the back ground. I took some cambric and painted it with some water and paint. The stamp is from Perfect Words. I used cardboard with ink, distressed the edges and I glued it together.

That’s my spread for this time. I hope you like it.

See you back here soon!

Cheers :)

Kathleen
