A layer a day - A spread a week: week 26

Hi lovely Butterflies,

France here to guide you through a new A Layer A Day challenge!

In case this is the first time you read about the challenge, check out the first blog post on the subject here, where we explain what it is all about.

You can join the fun at any time on the France Papillon and Creative Butterflies facebook group, where lots of alad spreads and in between layers get shared, which will definitely help your mojo to be inspired!

week 26

Intention setting for the second half of 2018

Now that we've spend the week reflecting on the first half of 2018, it's time to start looking at what's coming and how we want to live to it.

As you might have heard during our last facebook live, I have some surgery coming up and with that, I'm looking forward to a new health! My intention are thus clear and easy to set as far as my main self care is concerned. But that's the easy part ;)

The less easy part is the less obvious part: how do I want to live my life with this new health and what do I want to realize for myself during this second half of 2018? That is the idea that I want to work on during this week's alad. Now... how do you work on something like that?

My intention is to implement simple little things on a regular basis that make me happy and that make me feel fulfilled! Things that I have been craving (no, not chocolate!!) or wanting to do but didn't give into because of so many reasons.

For example, I have been craving working with spray inks in my journal. And there was always a reason not to, even if I know this simple little thing would make me happy and it would take my art journaling to a different place. So my intention for the second half of 2018 is to, not only pay attention to those little things, but to also fight off all those reasons why I shouldn't.

I'm not planning on having a fight with myself. I'm just planning to listen to myself, so that I can replace all those reasons why I shouldn't with reasons why I should!

And it will start with products and techniques in my journal. Because if I can set those intentions in my journal, I can set them in life!

How about you? What is your intention setting for the remaining of 2018?

How are you going to live up to that? How are you going to express that in your journal?

Please do share!!

Marit reflected on her ALAD's for the past half year. Back to her favorite colors, but much darker. Isn't it gorgeous?
