A layer a day - A spread a week: week 18

Hi hi sweet Butterflies, Kathleen here!

It is time for another week in the ALAD/ASAW challenge.

In case this is the first time you read about the challenge, check out the first blog post on the subject here, where we explain what it is all about.

You can join the fun at any time on the France Papillon and Creative Butterflies facebook group, where lots of alad spreads and in between layers get shared, which will definitely help your mojo to be inspired!

week 18

Holding on when you need to let go

This challenge is very hard for me…When I look at the title my eyes are getting wet. I lost my father 3 years ago very suddenly…and I can’t let him go.

Also in my daily life, I am not a person who let's things go easily. But I have learned that I have to live with 3 circles:

In the first one I can do something about it, in the second one I can give my opinion and the third one I should let go as I can’t change things. Sometimes I need to tell myself that enough is enough!

What do you do and how do you feel about holding on when you need to let go? Which colors or shapes might help you overcome? Would you go for a lot of contrast or more of a monochromatic expression? Does the feeling call for smooth texture or quite the contrary?

Let’s play around and make a pages this week…

See you back here soon!

Cheers :)

Kathleen
