I'm always amazed when I'm confronted with the influence of life on my art journaling. Because sometimes the influence is so obvious it really gets to you in a good way.
I started this spread over a week ago, working in the studio together with my youngest kido. That alone is already a different set up than what I'm used to when journaling. I didn't have enough time to finish my spread so I had to continue after our weekend in Luxemburg. We saw amazing things during our hikes and of course my mojo got influenced. Big time! So when coming back to the page, I just accepted that influence and allowed it on the page. I'm happy with the result because there are 2 complete different stories on there for me. And isn't that what art journaling is about? To allow your stories to unfold on paper?

Je suis toujours étonnée lorsque confrontée avec l'influence de la vie sur mon journaling créatif. Car parfois l'influence est telle qu'elle me touche. En bien.
J'ai commencé cette page il y a plus d'une semaine, travaillant dans mon atelier avec mon fiston. Rien que ça, c'est déjà une façon de travailler totalement différente de ce à quoi je suis habituée. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de finir ma page, du coups, j'ai dû la finir après notre séjour au Luxembourg. Nous y avons vu de magnifique chose lors de nos balades et mon inspiration en a été sacrément influencée! Donc à mon retour, j'ai accepté cette influence sur la page. Je suis contente avec le résultat car la page reflète deux histoire totalement différentes. Et n'est-ce pas là tout le but du journaling créatif? De permettre à nos histoires de se raconter sur papier?
